Sales Agreement/Health Guarantee
Back Creek Labs guarantees our puppies to be in good health, to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. All of our puppies have been given their first set of vaccinations and treated for worms at 2, 4, and 6 weeks of age. It is solely the buyer's responsibility to continue the vaccinations and worming schedule after taking a puppy home.
NOTE: *Upon pick-up day or arrival of puppy via shipment this contract must be signed, and returned to Back Creek Labs to validate your Guarantee.
Health Guarantee
The buyer has a health guarantee from the day of pick-up either at our location or the airlines to the close of the THIRD (3) business day in which to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian.
Back Creek Labs does not guarantee against conditions that can be brought on by exposure to adverse conditions that we cannot control when the puppy leaves our care. We do not guarantee against hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, parasites and viral or bacterial infections or any skin conditions.
If the vet finds no life threatening disease or hereditary disorders with the puppy at that time, then the obligation of Back Creek Labs is complete and this guarantee is no longer valid.
Hip Guarantee
All puppies are guaranteed for TWO (2) years against hip dysplasia starting from the day of pick-up either at our location or the airlines.
Hip Guarantee Exception
The guarantee becomes void in the event the dog is bred prior to TWO (2) years of age or bred to a non-AKC Labrador Retriever. No dog will be guaranteed that has had a traumatic hip/leg injury or surgery. All guarantees apply to the original buyer only.
Replacement
Should your vet find any concerns covered in our guarantees you must contact us on the same day a problem is found or this contract is invalid. There must be a letter from the licensed veterinarian (ON HIS/HER OFFICE LETTERHEAD) stating condition, as well as a receipt from visit. All documentation must be provided to Back Creek Labs. We reserve the right to have the puppy examined by our veterinarian prior to any adjustment. Based on his/her findings, then a replacement will be made with the return of the original puppy. Replacement will be made upon availability and for the original purchase price.
*Back Creek Labs is not responsible for any cost incurred by vet examinations, medical cost, or transportation for any reason on this puppy.
Payment is to be made in full before or at time of pick-up of the puppy. Payments for shipped puppies must be made ONE(1) week prior to puppy being shipped. Back Creek Labs accepts money orders, PayPal with an additional transaction fee, cash, or check. Any returned checks will be charged $50.00 to cover bank fees plus any attorney fees.
*Buyers will be responsible for ALL shipping/freight charges including additional vet examintaion and travel crate.
Also, insurance on your puppy if chosen.
Back Creek Labs assumes no responsibility for injuries or the physical well-being of this puppy after leaving our premises, and/or after leaving the puppy with specified airline to be shipped.
*There are no cash refunds*
Back Creek Labs requires that all puppies purchased with full registration use our kennel name in the dogs Full Registered Name.
(Example: Back Creek's Rover)
All puppies purchased with limited registration must be spayed/neutered by 12 months of age.
Back Creek Labs reserves the right to alter this guarantee if we deem necessary.
